The phrases below that are addressing a person (“you”) are conjugated for talking to a male.

Happy Ramadan. : Ramadan kareem / kol sana w enta tayb.
.رمضان كريم/ كل سنة وانت طيب
Do you want to eat Iftar / Sahour together? : Tegy neftar sawa / ntsa7ar sawa?
تيجي نفطر سوا / نتسحر سوا؟
Going out with friends is just one of the most important “Ramadan skills” you should have.
I’m hungry, man. : Ana ga3an ya m3alem.
.انا جعان يا معلم
Enjoy your meal. : Belhana w elshefa.
.باهنا والشفا
This phrase can be used at anytime you are eating a meal.
Think of it as bon appétit.
“The first date is yours.” / sawma maqbolan.
.البلحة دي بتاعتك …صوما مقبولا
You often “break the fast” during Ramadan with a date.
This is something you will say to allow somebody to eat before you.
Let’s drink some juice. : Yalla neshrab 3aseer.
.يلا نشرب عصير
What time is sunset today? : Elmaghreb emta elnharda?
المغرب امتى النهاردة؟
Are you also not drinking water? : Enta kaman mesh btshrab maya?
انت كمان مش بتشرب مياه؟
The word mish is an important one to know.
It basically just negates the verb of a sentence in Egyptian Arabic.
How is fasting going? : Elseyam 3amel eh?
الصيام عامل ايه؟
What should I bring? : Agyb ma3ia eh?
اجيب معايا ايه؟
Which series are you watching? : Btabe3 mosalsalat eh?
بتابع مسلسلات ايه؟
Out of all the Ramadan phrases you might use, this is definitely one of the most important!

How many more hours do we have? : Fadel kam sa3a?
فاضل كام ساعة؟
Do you want to meet up later (at night)? : Tegy net2abel belil?
تيجي نتقابل بليل؟
What do you have planned after Ramadan (the holiday?) : hate3ml eh f el3eed?
هتعمل ايه في العيد؟
